Arte Blitzstein passed away on February 22, 2024 at the age of 69 in Pikesville,MD.  He is Survived By: wife Mary Josephine Zammarella; his sister Roxanne Krigman (Raphael); and his nieces, Yael Krigman and Maya Krugman.

Comments from Doug Silvern who forwarded this info to us:  Arte was not a close friend, but I knew him from activities at CHS. I'm sure other classmates have stories to share of escapades with Arte. He was a unique character with wonderful smile and priceless sense of humor. I wasn't in many classes that i can remember with Arte. He was probably smarter than i, as i graduated in the top half of the lower third of our class.
