Richard Hess is no longer with us. He moved to Minnesota with his family right after we graduated. The motor mounts in the car he was driving broke and it caused the car to veer off the road and hit a tree. He was in a coma for about a week, I think it was, before he died. We ran cross country together and were good friends with many great memories in the short time we call high school.
