James William Sheriff, Jr. "Billy" age 60 died in the Hospice House of Charles County on January 1, 2014.  He married another CHS 71 alumni Susan Lockwood, they were married for 26 years. Billy worked in the communications/electronics field for Teltronic, Inc. for 42 years before retiring in 2012. He was also very active in supporting the Charles County Sheriff's Department and all of the volunteer fire departments and the Charles Fire and EMS Service in Charles County. Billy was also a member of the Southern Maryland Amateur Radio Club and fulfilled his retirement dream of obtaining his HAM Radio Operators License. Billy loved spending time in his swimming pool and playing with his "Best Pal" Peanut.

Billy will be remembered and missed!
